I really wanted to ignore the bad reviews. Unfortunately, the soap will leak into the battery compartment. You can disassemble it, clean it, dry it out but only for it to leak and stop working in just a week or so.
Sorry, don't waste your money. It's pretty--but that's it.

My husband and I were given this soap dispenser as a Christmas gift one year. We thought it was such a odd gift to give someone, haha! However we ended up loving it! We have had it for four years now and it is still working strong! It sometimes goes through these funks were it wont dispense but a little drop, usually that is when the battery is needing to be changed. This is so great to have with kids! They can't use your whole bottle of soap in one washing! Yay!

Have the old version. This one has a graded dispenser dial on it.
Cons: The dispenser dial is inconvieniently placed.
Pros: Dispenses soap well. I use it for dish soap over the sink. Hands free works wonders for washing dishes quickly.
